Hearing Aid Guide – Pure Charge&Go AX

Pure Charge&Go AX are the latest high end Receiver in the Canal (RIC) hearing aids from Signia.

These high-tech devices use Signia’s Augmented Xperience platform. It is inspired by the same principle as in 3D movies where key images appear directly in front of you while the background remains further away. This is possible because they have, for the first time, two separate processors: one for sounds in focus, like your conversation partner’s voice, the other for surroundings.

Pure AX replaces the Pure X range of hearing aids.

HOW TO CHANGE PURE AX DOMES

Dome is the common term used across all manufacturer of hearing aids to refer to the rubber tip that goes on the end of the receiver wire and into your ear canal. Domes come in many sizes and your Audiologist will have already worked with you to find a dome that suits your ear canal and hearing loss.

We recommend wiping the domes with a cloth every time you take the aid out of your ear with a wipe or it can be removed from the receiver and rinsed in warm water (no soap), but make sure that the dome is dry before putting it back onto the aid.

You should exchange the dome for a new one approximately every three months, however  replace them sooner if you notice cracks or other changes.

HOW TO CHANGE PURE AX WAX FILTERS

Signia WG 3.0 NanoCare wax guards are designed for use at the end of Signia 3.0 Receiver wires. They are designed to protect the receiver component from debris and wax build up.

We recommend as a general rule that you change the wax filter every 6 – 8 weeks, however If you feel that the sound is not as clear as normal we recommend changing the wax filter.

 To recharge the devices:
